Thanks Harry! The DNS resolution is handled outside Minikube with /etc/hosts. Metallb assigns an IP from the pool and then I add a custom DNS mapping in /etc/hosts to that IP. For services that I need to access frequently, I assign a static IP with loadBalancerIP field on the LB service resource.
